I had a trapped nerve in my groin which was quite painful and it affected my sleep. Dr Krishna carried out an ablation of the nerve. The procedure was a bit uncomfortable but well worth it, I am completely pain-free. Thank you for your expertise.

After having MRI scans and other treatments by another consultant, I was referred to Dr Krishna to help me with my severe back pain.

Multi-gratitudes

I had two SGB injections for the treatment of Parosmia after contracting the Delta variant of Covid in October 22. Prior to the injections, I had a limited diet of cheese, mushrooms, tomatoes, white fish and chocolate only due to the unbearable taste and smell of food, environmental things and drinks. Going out for a meal, cooking and mealtimes were stressful.
Following the right-hand side and left-hand side injections, I now eat normally with the omission of onions and coffee. Whilst food and drinks do not taste as they should, they are palatable which they were far from prior to the injections.

Dr Krishna and the nurse who treated me at the Willows were brilliant. Welcoming, friendly and put me at ease.

No side effects other than a droopy eye after each injection for a short period of time.

I always use Dr Krishna for pain relief. He is what I would describe as my pain relief king. I have been using him now privately for many years and wouldn't go anywhere else. He always listens very intently during the consultation and delivers the correct treatment for me every time. His nurse Lindsay is always so lovely and supportive as I am nervous about needles. She always reassures me during the procedure. I honestly cannot express how thankful I am for Dr Krishna and his careful expertise in this area. If you are suffering from pain he really is the Dr to go to.

Just a note to let you know that I am completely free of pain and exercising hard, (mainly in the garden ?). So many thanks again for the ACNES injection, it has worked wonderfully.

Hey guys just a quick update following the SGB procedure - it’s definitely worked and had an amazing result so far! The best way I can describe it would be that my adrenaline has been muted in situations where I would have otherwise felt a huge surge or jolt of it. Like the guard dog is still barking at me but now it doesn’t have teeth!

Simply amazing. Drove 3 hours from Kent to get pain treatment from Pain Spa after 6 months of getting thrown from doctor to doctor by the NHS with no progress being made or a confirmed diagnosis of my unknown side pain.

I had my SGB for PTSD booked with Dr Krishna.

My PTSD was escalated to such an extent that I felt I had to retire from work. Problems for my well-being and extreme anxiety and social isolate from friends and relatives.
I was first very skeptical about the SGB. I needed to try like everything else and I was desperate for help my symptoms were really bad. I and the Pain team had a long correspondence before the treatment and I finally decided to leave Sweden to meet Dr. Krishna. I had a very stressful flight and check-in and I was completely lost and stressed when I meet Dr. Krishna and Nurse Lindsey at their Pain clinic. We hade a consultation where Dr. Krishna did a detailed clinical assessment and medical history together with my medical certificates. the questions were detailed about my PTSD symptoms and after assessment, we went to the operation room I was really scared of the needle it didn't hurt but it felt unpleasant and right after the needle come out I was disappointed could not feel anything and became even more stressed until 30 seconds later it was like a big rush everything in my body released it felt like 1000 kilo of my body was gone and I was really happy that the treatment was a success.

I went back to the hotel and the first improvements I could see and feel was that I could have eye contact and talk without being uncomfortable with the receptionist I could even go to the hotel bar and just go around without being tense.

And I tried to think about the trauma I can think about it but not long and it's not negative thoughts or painful anymore. Before I could dig down with my thoughts in the trauma but is not like that anymore. I feel a harmony that I have never known before.

This treatment was priceless for me I don’t know how long I will feel like this but I'm happy for every day the Dr thought 4-5 mounts the first injection sometimes life long.
Dr. Krishna is very skilled with the needle he did a perfect block on my C6 the treatment was very successful. Dr. Krishna is like a god for me he gave me my life back.

Dr Murli Krishna has given me my life back. I have been suffering from severe abdominal pain for nine months resulting in repeated visits to my GP, emergency department visits and a range of procedures including surgery without any success - in even getting a diagnosis. I have been unable to walk, sit or carry out any type of movement without experiencing severe pain, and even strong pain relief has not been effective. With the risk of losing my job as a nurse, I made the decision to attend an appointment at the Pain Spa to see if they could shed some light on my symptoms and condition. It was the best decision I could have made. During the consultation, Dr. Krishna discussed how abdominal wall pain could be causing my current pain. He discussed several options available to me including acupuncture and TENS machine, but I was adamant I wanted the Steroid/anaesthetic injection. I felt the benefit of the injection before getting off the treatment table and am not ashamed to say I shed a few tears of relief. My husband said I "bounced with joy" back into the waiting room. Since the treatment, I have been able to walk without any pain and discomfort but decided to have the pulsed radio frequency treatment to reduce any further niggles. It's been less than a week since then and I am completely off my Tramadol doses. I couldn't have contemplated returning to any type of work - let alone my full-time community nurse role prior to this injection treatment. As it is, my return to work date is now set within the next two weeks. I cannot thank Dr. Krishna and Jan McKechnie enough for their professional and compassionate care throughout my treatment. Without this successful treatment, I faced many more months of treatment with the risk of no correct diagnosis being found. I have been given back my quality of life and will be forever grateful to them for that.

After a harrowing experience and 6 weeks in the hospital, my family clubbed together to get me the treatment I needed. I was diagnosed with ACNES and faced and agonizing 18 weeks wait for ultrasound guided steroid injections. Dr. Krishna was polite, friendly and very knowledgeable. During the consultation, he was extremely thorough and answered all of my questions before I even had to ask them. During the procedure, he guided me through everything he was doing and explained every step. Both Jan and Dr. Krishna put me at ease which is no small feat! I am happy to say that within a few days of my procedure I am now pain-free and the happiest I have been in a very long time. I shall return if I ever need any further treatment without any doubt at all!

I have had radiofrequency lesioning therapy a number of times under Dr. Krishna and for me it means up to 12 months of pain-free living. Although there is some pain during the procedure, it does not last long. Soon you can be pain-free and be able to do a lot more than you could before. Full relief can take up to 6 weeks but the results can be spectacular.

My son has felt great relief after the SGB treatment.

He's not the most prolific of writers but he will write to you at some stage, telling you how much more relaxed he has been and is totally convinced that he would have not have had the resilience to cope with the isolation this pandemic has caused. He spent a month in Australia and New Zealand with friends during February and March and got the last flight to Singapore before flights stopped. He self isolated for 14 days when he returned home and, again, could not have done that had the treatment not been such a success.
